To achieve this breakthrough, DLTtape technology includes a number of technical innovations, including Laser Guided Magnetic Recording, Pivoting Optical Servo, Magneto-Resistive Cluster heads, a new high-efficiency Partial Response Maximum Likelihood channel and an Advanced Metal Powder media.
